Dudleys Mills has been part of the fabric of Clonmel for over 240 years. The site traces its origins to 1782, when Robert Dudley — a Quaker merchant who had come to Clonmel as an ironmonger — built a grain mill on the banks of the Suir, powered by a long weir that still bears his name. Known as Suirville Mills, it became one of the larger milling operations in the town.
The site changed hands several times as the grain trade declined, before Thomas Russell converted it to a woollen mill in 1887. In 1896, Cleeves of Limerick took over and established a condensed milk factory on the premises, closing it a decade later in 1906. In the latter half of the twentieth century the site operated as a tannery.
Today, Dudleys Mills (established in 2003) is a working commercial business park spanning 7 hectares — a site with a long industrial history and a practical, well-located offering for businesses operating across Tipperary and the wider Munster region.

Dudleys Mills Business Park is situated on the Coleville Road, approximately 1km from Clonmel town
centre and 1km from the N24, the main Waterford to Limerick route. The location provides straightforward access to the national road network, making it a practical base for
logistics, distribution, and businesses serving customers across Munster and the south-east.
